A house in the historic centre of Palestrina, where architecture and landscape build an ongoing relationship.
-
The house sits in the north-eastern part of the historic centre of Palestrina. Set in a privileged corner position, it's the only home in the area with a garden spread across two levels.
The idea behind the project was to preserve the strong bond between the home and its natural surroundings. The renovation offered the chance to rethink every space, indoors and out, and establish a new relationship between the house and the garden.
From the entrance you reach the living area, lit by three large windows. At the heart of the house, a triple-height space celebrates verticality with stone, overhead light, metal and wood.
